Freshmen:

  • MEAP Social Studies

Sophomore:

  • PLAN Test
  • April
  • All Sophomores will be taking the PLAN test this year. The PLAN test will assist students in preparing for the ACT and has a great career interest inventory.
  • Juniors:

    • ACT-MME
  • ACT/MME Tuesday March 9
  • WorkKeys Wednesday March 10
  • Michigan Mathematics, Science and Social Studies
    Thursday March 11
    • Students who receive qualifying scores on the Michigan Merit Exam (MME) may receive up to $1,000 per academic year for each of their first two years of college enrollment and up to $2,000 after the successful completion of two years of postsecondary education with at least a 2.5 GPA (associate's degree, two-year certificate, vocational education program or 50 percent of the academic requirements for a bachelor's degree).
    • Students who do not receive qualifying scores on the State Assessment Test (MEAP or MME depending on high school graduating class year) may receive up to $4,000 after the successful completion of two years of postsecondary education with at least a 2.5 GPA (associate's degree, two-year certificate, vocational education program or 50 percent of the academic requirements for a bachelor's degree).
    • Students completing a vocational training program requiring less than two years to complete may be eligible for a prorated scholarship amount.

      • PSAT/NMSQT Wednesday October 14
    • $13 charge for taking this test
    • students will get feedback about critical academic skills , enter scholarship competitions, and initiate the college-planning process

    Seniors:

    • ASVAB
    • Thursday October 15th 2008
    • The ASVAB was originally designed to predict future academic and occupational success in military occupations
    • Now ASVAB uses several composite scores are formed from different combinations of ASVAB test scores. Three composites, or Career Exploration Scores, are provided specifically to help students engage in career exploration.
    • ACT-MME RETAKE (there will be no Fall retake of the ACT-MME)
      • Seniors will take the retake in the spring with the Juniors only if they did not receive a qualifying score ion the MME
