H.P. MOORE, High School Principal
I was born in a small town in the Upper Peninsula. I have lived most of my
life in the U.P. with the exception of approximately 13 years. My bachelor's
degree is from Northern Michigan University with an emphasis on Business
Education and Political Science minor. My Masters degree is from Central
Michigan University in Educational Administration. This is my 16th year as a
principal and 22 years in education.

My name is Heather Grentz and I grew up in this area. I
graduated from Northern Michigan University in the
Spring of 2000 with a degree in elementary education. I
started working in the District that fall teaching 5th
grade. In 2004 I received my Masters from NMU in K-12
guidance counseling. After 7 years in the District
teaching 5th grade I made the move to the High School
Guidance Office, making this year's seniors my first
class of 5th graders! At home, I have three beautiful
children. We enjoy the outdoors and our huskies.
