Position: K-8 Teacher (current schedule includes: Life Skills 7, Math Lab, English
6, and Elementary PE)

Qualifications:
• The applicant should have a BA/BS degree and a valid State of Michigan K-8 Teaching Certificate
• Preferred endorsements:
o Physical Education (MB, MC, or MX endorsement) and/or
o ELA (BA, BQ, or BX endorsement)
• Well-developed classroom management skills, people skills and effective communication skills
• Successful experience working in collaborative groups
• Advanced ability to use technology effectively
• Willingness to participate in professional development aligned with the school and district initiatives
